NSIT among Best Engineering Colleges

NSIT has once again reaffirmed its status as one of the most distinguished engineering colleges in India.According to the recently released India Today rankings,NSIT stands at a proud 18th rank amongst the various engineering colleges across the nation.

Despite stiff competition from other engineering colleges,NSIT has constantly managed to secure its position amongst the top 20 engineering colleges in India.Due credit must be given to our dedicated faculty members and the equally zealous students who are committed to the cause of making NSIT,a force to reckon with in the technical fraternity.

The rankings are based on five parameters- Reputation of colleges, Quality of Academic Inputs, Student Care, Infrastructure and Job Prospects.

The entire ranking process involved collection of list of colleges to be surveyed, calculation of the parameter-wise ranks and the perceptual ranks at the city level, calculation of the parameter-wise ranks and the perceptual ranks at the national level, calculation of the factual ranks and then the calculation of the final rank by taking the rescaled perceptual score and the factual score in the ratio of 70:30.

Here's hoping NSIT will continue the tradition and earn more plaudits in the future!
