Embedded Systems Workshop

IEEE NSIT in association with LearnMicros successfully organized the Embedded Systems Workshop from 23rd to 27th Feb 2010. All the students learned the contents of the Workshop and the we received an overwhelming response from the participating students. IEEE NSIT made 34 new members in the Workshop, which adds glory to the success of the Workshop. The workshop longed for 5 days in which Prof. D.V.Gadre taught for 15 hours and the practical session of 5 hours was taken by Mr. Nehul Malhotra.

Recreational trip to Dalhousie

This is to inform you all that IEEE NSIT will be organizing its Annual Recreational Trip from 31st March to 4th April,2010 to Dalhousie, Khajiaar, Chamba and nearby places. The detailed itinerary is given below. The registrations for the trip have started. There are only 65 seats for the students on first come, first serve basis.

Open Source Project, Volunteer Needed

One of our colleagues, Mohit Taneja has been associated with an open source project namely FoodForce2 which is an educational gaming project running on OLPC ,Windows , Linux and Macintosh platforms. The FoodForce2 team is in need of a volunteer who will be working on the core development of the project. The project involves coding in Python and will involve exciting work with application of advanced algorithms, data structures and sometimes crazy optimizations :).
